Today I completed the last of the 36 portraits I’m drawing for Pie & Whiskey, a forthcoming title from Sasquatch Books. Hurrah! Now I’m in the revisions phase. I’m redrawing the hair on about a half dozen of them — I took a strange approach to it in the early going that ended up not working out. I’m lightboxing, redrawing on a separate sheet, cut & pasting the new drawing over the old in the computer, and then doing some finessing. It’s working out pretty well, even for long-locked subjects.
